Terms of Service

Last updated: November 7, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Turnboards website, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”). “Turnboards,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the provider of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Turnboards on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf. Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

2. Using Turnboards

Turnboards helps you organize projects, tasks, schedules, customer requests, and shared work. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes. We retain ownership of the Service, including its software, design, and branding.

You remain responsible for your work, staffing, customer commitments, workplace safety, and compliance with applicable laws. Plans, reminders, templates, and status updates are organizational tools; you should independently verify important deadlines, assignments, and records. Offline changes may not be available to other users until they sync successfully.

3. Organizations and shared access

Organization owners and authorized administrators manage membership, permissions, and shared work. Content you add to an organization may be accessible to its members and administrators according to their permissions. Your access may change or end when an administrator changes your membership. Only invite people and share information when you have permission to do so. Protect guest links and other access links, and share them only with intended recipients.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the information, files, photos, and other material you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). You grant Turnboards permission to host, store, process, display, and transmit Your Content as needed to provide, secure, and support the Service, including sharing it with users you authorize. This permission does not transfer ownership of Your Content to us.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and permissions associated with Your Content, including personal information about employees, customers, and others. Keep separate copies of records you need to retain. Do not upload material you are not entitled to use or disclose.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
  • Upload content that infringes another person's rights, violates privacy, or contains malicious code.
  • Access accounts, organizations, or data without authorization, or bypass access controls or usage limits.
  • Disrupt the Service, interfere with other users, or send spam through the Service.
  • Copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law permits it or we authorize it in writing.

6. Plans, payments, and subscriptions

Some features may require a paid plan. The price, billing period, included features, and any trial terms are shown when you purchase. If you choose an automatically renewing subscription, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Any change to subscription pricing will be communicated before it applies, with any notice or consent required by applicable law or the purchase platform.

Manage and cancel purchases made through Apple's App Store or Google Play through the account and subscription settings of the store where you purchased. For a subscription purchased directly from Turnboards, use any available billing controls or contact us for cancellation assistance before your next renewal. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a store subscription. Canceling renewal generally leaves paid access available until the end of the current billing period, as described at purchase.

Refund eligibility depends on the terms disclosed at purchase, the applicable store's policies, and applicable law. For store purchases, request refunds through the relevant store. Contact us about billing questions or purchases made directly from Turnboards. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory cancellation or refund rights.

7. Privacy and third-party services

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Third-party services, linked websites, and app stores have their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability and operation are outside our control.

If you download the iOS app, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to the app license unless a separate custom license is provided. These terms govern your use of the Turnboards Service alongside any applicable app-store terms.

8. Changes, suspension, and termination

We may update features or discontinue parts of the Service. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a violation of these terms, a security risk, unlawful activity, or a legal requirement. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the Service at any time and contact us about closing your account. Cancel any active subscription separately through the applicable billing provider.

When access ends, your right to use the Service ends. Contact us before closing an account if you need assistance retaining Your Content. Data retention and deletion are described in our Privacy Policy and remain subject to applicable legal requirements. Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

9. Service availability and warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet every requirement. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Turnboards will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including lost profits, lost business, or lost data. Our total liability arising out of the Service or these terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Turnboards for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100.

These limitations do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and do not limit your mandatory consumer rights.

11. Resolving concerns

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms do not restrict your right to bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction or exercise rights available under applicable law, including mandatory protections in your place of residence.

12. Updates to these terms

We may revise these terms as the Service changes. We will post the updated terms here and update the date above. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the Service or another appropriate channel, except where a change must take effect sooner for legal or security reasons. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them; where required by law, we will obtain your consent.
