Keep the task list separate from the business documents
The working list should answer what happens next. Use approved estimates, change orders, invoices, contracts, permits, and customer records for the financial and legal parts of the job.
Record changes before continuing
When the opened wall, removed fixture, or replacement part changes the work, pause the affected task and record the question or approval needed.
Use Turnboards for the shared next-action list
Create one board for the job, add only the agreed work items, keep access and material context in notes, and assign the person expected to move each current action.
What Turnboards does—and does not do
Turnboards is a fast shared work list with boards, assignments, notes, due dates, offline updates, and Backlog, Active, and Complete statuses. It does not provide automated recurring checklists, photo-proof reports, invoicing, employee scheduling, GPS tracking, or formal inspection records.
