Record state, not just tasks
A useful restoration note says what is disconnected, where removed parts are stored, which fasteners belong together, what was tested, and what finding changed the plan.
Keep unsafe or uncertain work out of Active
Do not treat a generic checklist as a repair procedure. Consult the correct manual and qualified help, support the vehicle appropriately, and only activate work you can perform safely.
- Reference the correct manual
- Label removed parts
- Record test results
- Verify before marking complete
Use a board for the changing restoration list
Keep specifications, photographs, receipts, and technical records elsewhere. Turnboards can hold the current actions and short handoff notes when the restoration list needs to travel or be shared.
What Turnboards does—and does not do
Turnboards is a fast shared work list with boards, assignments, notes, due dates, offline updates, and Backlog, Active, and Complete statuses. It does not provide automated recurring checklists, photo-proof reports, invoicing, employee scheduling, GPS tracking, or formal inspection records.
