Keep one overview and separate working lists
The overview helps you choose where attention goes. Keep the actual ideas, tasks, notes, and completed work inside each project's own sheet or Turnboards board.
Paused is a useful status
A paused project is not a failed project. Name the blocker and restart point, then give the current project enough space to move.
- Do not keep every project Active
- Finish or pause before expanding
- Leave one observable next action
- Review without rewriting every list
Choose portfolio software for portfolio work
Use a full project tool when you need schedules, dependencies, budgets, workloads, or reports across projects. This sheet is a personal attention map.
What Turnboards does—and does not do
Turnboards is a fast shared work list with boards, assignments, notes, due dates, offline updates, and Backlog, Active, and Complete statuses. It does not provide automated recurring checklists, photo-proof reports, invoicing, employee scheduling, GPS tracking, or formal inspection records.
