Decluttering Project Checklist Template
Turn one room, storage area, or category into a finite project. Decide where items go, finish the outgoing actions, and leave the space usable instead of creating new piles elsewhere.

What you will get
- Choose one bounded space or category
- Define what usable and finished mean
- Create clear paths for outgoing items
- Close relocation, donation, sale, and disposal loops

Make the project smaller than the home
Choose one closet, workbench, shelf group, or item category. A bounded finish line makes progress visible and reduces the number of half-sorted spaces.
An outgoing pile is still an open task
Donation bags, sale items, recycling, and objects waiting to be relocated remain project work until they reach their destination. Name the action and owner.
- Keep only clear categories
- Do not relocate clutter blindly
- Set aside sensitive documents
- Finish disposal appropriately
Use the right support for difficult situations
Some spaces involve safety, accessibility, grief, hazardous items, or clinically significant hoarding. Use qualified local help where appropriate; this lightweight checklist is not designed for those needs.
What Turnboards does—and does not do
Turnboards is a fast shared work list with boards, assignments, notes, due dates, offline updates, and Backlog, Active, and Complete statuses. It does not provide automated recurring checklists, photo-proof reports, invoicing, employee scheduling, GPS tracking, or formal inspection records.
